Cebama is a collaborative project investigating cement-based materials, properties, evolution and barrier functions within the European Commission Horizon 2020 frame. Scientific and technical research in Cebama is largely independent of specific disposal concepts and addresses different types of host rocks, as well as bentonite. Cebama is not focusing on one specific cementitious material, but aims at studying a variety of important cement-based materials in order to provide insight on general processes and phenomena. Cebama is coordinated by KIT-INE.
